About Gaza Ridge Health Centre
The Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located on Gaza Ridge South at Bandiana near Wodonga.
The Albury Wodonga Military Area consists of 3 barracks and is home to the Army's Logistic Training Centre, Joint Logistics Unit Victoria and Schooling in various areas.
This is a large base providing services to over **** Defence Force members.
The health centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care.
There is also a 20-bed low dependency ward which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.




The standard operating hours are 07:*******:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on‐call shifts).
This is a fixed term full time bench position that involves shift work, weekend work and travel if operationally required.
What You'll Do
Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
Ability to work a 24/7 roster
