The opportunity An exciting opportunity exists within a highly regarded Technology and Applied Studies Faculty for a passionate and skilled teacher to join a collaborative and high-performing team.
In this role, you will: Teach Technology and Applied Studies across Stages 4-6 Deliver engaging and practical learning experiences in workshop environments Teach Stage 6 Industrial Technology Timber and/or Metal, or develop into these subject areas with appropriate support and mentoring Foster creativity, problem-solving skills,



and technical proficiency in students Maintain high standards of workshop safety and best practice Contribute to curriculum development and faculty initiatives Support students to achieve excellence in both practical and theoretical components of their courses Participate in the wider life of the school through pastoral care and co-curricular programs About you You are a passionate and dedicated TAS educator who: Holds recognised secondary teaching qualifications Is NESA accredited (or eligible for accreditation) Has workshop skills and experience within a TAS setting Has experience teaching Stage 6 Industrial Technology Timber and/or Metal, or possesses a strong workshop background and a willingness to develop in these areas Demonstrates excellent classroom and workshop management skills Maintains a strong commitment to student safety and wellbeing Builds positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families Thrives within a collaborative, professional, and high-performing environment Is committed to ongoing professional learning and development Why this school?
