Lead code and design reviews, and ensure quality across the team through testing, code reviews and CI/CD practices
Monitor system performance, reliability and security, driving continuous improvement initiatives
Manage, mentor and develop a team of Full Stack Software Engineers, including career development, performance reviews and skills growth
Lead hiring, onboarding and capacity planning for the Platforms Development team
Set sprint priorities, allocate work and manage delivery timelines against roadmap commitments
Foster a collaborative, high‐performing team culture, and resolve technical and interpersonal issues as they arise
Communicate progress, risks and technical trade‐offs to senior leadership and stakeholders
Champion engineering best practices and coding standards, and drive continuous improvement across the team
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or Technical Lead in cloud-based or SaaS environments, with demonstrated progression into a leadership role
6-10+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, including at least 1-2 years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity
Strong frontend development experience using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular or similar)
Solid backend development experience using Node.js, Python, Go or similar technologies
Experience designing and building scalable APIs and distributed systems
Hands‐on experience implementing authentication protocols such as OIDC and SAML
Strong understanding of OAuth2, JWTs and secure session management
Knowledge of application security best practices
Demonstrated people leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching and performance management
Strong stakeholder management, communication and prioritisation skills
Ability to balance hands‐on technical contribution with team leadership responsibilities
Experience building and operating production SaaS applications
Experience with CI/CD practices and modern software development methodologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Multi‐tenant SaaS architecture experience, familiarity with enterprise identity providers and SSO platforms, and experience integrating billing or subscription systems are highly desirable. Exposure to event‐driven architectures or messaging systems, an understanding of
SOC 2, ISO *****
