About UsAt Integral Diagnostics (IDX), we're committed to making healthcare better - one patient at a time.As a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services across Australia and New Zealand, we support more than 2,700 team members across 150+ locations.Listed on the ASX-300, IDX is driven by innovation, collaboration and excellence in patient care.About the RoleReporting into the Assistant Group Financial Controller, you'll work across multiple areas of the business, partnering with stakeholders throughout the group and gaining exposure to a diverse range of financial activities.We actively encourage internal growth and provide opportunities for exposure to different areas of financial reporting, helping you broaden your skillset, deepen your commercial understanding, and accelerate your career development.As the business continues to grow, there will be exciting opportunities to contribute to process improvement initiatives, drive efficiencies, and help shape future ways of working.Key responsibilities include:Preparing month-end financial reporting, including journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting across multiple business unitsSupport annual and half-yearly audits and statutory reporting requirements, providing financial analysis, working papers, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworksMaintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accounting policies are applied consistently across the businessPrepare BAS/FBT and assist with other compliance mattersAssist with budgeting,
forecasting and business case scenario modellingWorking closely with stakeholders across various business unitsAnalysing large volumes of financial data and providing meaningful insightsIdentifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficienciesSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance operationsLeveraging technology, automation, and AI tools to drive smarter ways of workingAbout YouWe're looking for someone who combines strong technical foundations with the right attitude and mindset.
You'll ideally have:Approximately 4 years' experience within Big 4 or Mid-Tier Chartered firmsCA/CPA qualification completed or in progressStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel capability, including working with large and complex datasetsA proactive approach and willingness to challenge the status quoThe agility to adapt to changing priorities, systems, and processesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA collaborative and sociable personality who enjoys working as part of a teamA genuine eagerness to learn, contribute, and take on new challengesWhy Join Us?
