About the role An excellent opportunity has arisen for a capable and experienced professional to lead our motivated Development Support team, within the Development Traffic Services Unit (DTSU), contributing to high‐quality services and positive outcomes for our community.
In this role you will: Manage the team to deliver innovative and effective administrative support and process outcomes that align with Council's strategic documents, legislation and wider community expectations.
Lead the Development Support team, overseeing daily operations, task allocation, and the delivery of high-quality output across multiple tasks and application types.
Complete Audits of both internal applications and external platforms to ensure processes and procedures re adhered to and create reports and updates.
Negotiate, mediate and resolve complex administrative and procedural issues.
Lead and support business improvement initiatives, including process mapping, workflow redesign, and the implementation of operational improvements for the team.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, templates and operational tools that support consistent ways of working.

Solid understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practical, day to day operations.
