Employment Type: Talent Pool Creation
Salary: $102,936 – $113,579 + super + leave loading
A Talent Pool will be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months. Priority will be given to filling roles at Wagga Wagga & Tumut / Junee Hub Community Corrections.

As a Community Corrections Officer with Corrective Services NSW, you'll play a key role in supervising individuals on community-based orders—guiding their rehabilitation, ensuring accountability, and actively contributing to safer communities.
You will assess individual needs and risks, develop tailored case plans, prepare reports for relevant authorities, and recommend programs and services that support positive behavioural change.

A bit about our locations
We are advertising for roles in three specific locations. Wagga Wagga, Junee and Tumut.
The Wagga Wagga location travels to and works across the rural and remote communities of Junee, Coolamon, Lockhart, Henty, Tarcutta and Urana.
The Tumut location is based in Tumut and travels to and works across the areas of Mannus Correctional Centre, Gundagai, Tumbarumba and Batlow and surrounding remote areas.
The Junee location works within the Junee Correctional Centre. Working within a Correctional Centre environment is an expectation of the role.

Essential Requirements
Obtain Certificate IV Correctional Practice within 24 months of employment and within 12 months of commencing training. This accreditation process is required to ensure staff can perform all aspects of the role and work with all types of offenders.
Current driver's licence and a willingness/ability to drive within NSW.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a mandatory four‐week, in‐person, paid training program at our Brush Farm Academy, which is a key component of the Certificate IV in Correctional Practice curriculum.
