Responsibilities:

The Trade Assistant will provide the hands-on support required across the Refurbishment area, assisting with component handling, cleaning, preparation, assembly support, and general workshop activities. This will ensure the team can continue to meet customer expectations while maintaining productivity and workflow.

Provide support services; including but not limited to:

• Basic administrative tasks

• Applying quality control techniques

• Maintaining a protected and clean work place

- Use basic hand and power tools
- Operate basic workshop equipment
- Ordering spare parts
- Lubricating mechanical equipment and components
- Operating lifting equipment
- Inspecting work for conformity to established standards
- Basic measurement and inspection
- Work in all sections within the Remanufacturing as required

Skills & Experience:

Preferred

- Certificate II Engineering (Mechanical)



or at least 1-2 years’ industry experience
- Current driver’s license
- High Risk License to Operate Forklift

Desirable

- High Risk Licence to Operate Bridge and Gantry Cranes
