We have excellent opportunities for experienced civil labourers, pipe layers, toppy's, form workers, machine operators in the Wide Bay Region. We recruit for a number of established and well-respected civil companies in the Wide Bay Region who are looking for energetic and hardworking people to join their team. You will be in a hands-on role in delivering and maintaining efficient and effective day-to-day operation of civil maintenance and construction activities.

Your recent role

General civil labouring/operating tasks associated with, but not limited to:

- Storm-water drainage
- Concreting
- Roads
- Pipe laying
- Removal and disposal of debris
- Spotting machinery
- Manual Handling
- Site maintenance and clean-up
- Operating various hand and power tools
- Operating Plant Machinery up to 36 tonne
- Working in a team environment
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of others by following council policies and procedures,



cooperating with all reasonable instructions and actively participating in all health & safety training and consultation.

What you'll need to succeed

- A current Construction Industry White Card
- Previous experience in the past 6-12 months in civil construction / pipe laying / roads and bridges
- Other machine operating experience and tickets also desired (e.g. roller, front-end loader, excavator)
- A current Driver's Licence and own transport to site each day for a 6:30am start.
- PPE: Hard hat, gloves, glasses, Long Sleeve Hi-vis Shirt & Pants and Steel Cap Boots
- Positive and hardworking attitude
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check and ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
