Mine Fill Services is seeking an accomplished project delivery leader to head a multidisciplinary Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) team responsible for delivering major mining projects. Reporting to senior executive leadership, this role has overall accountability for protected and successful delivery—from detailed engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, operational readiness and handover.

The successful candidate will lead project strategy, governance and execution, ensuring safety, quality, cost, schedule and performance objectives are achieved. c

You will lead an experienced project organisation, influence critical engineering and execution decisions, and take accountability for delivering a safe, operable and high-performing asset.

You will have a real impact on the projects you run, and the business as a whole. Mine Fill operates with a relatively flat organisational structure offering individuals the ability to cover a range of activities in their role.

The position will require regular travel or extended periods at the project site, with the working arrangement determined by the project’s location and phase.

Key responsibilities

Lead the integrated engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project controls functions.

Establish and execute the project delivery strategy, governance framework and project execution plan.

Make key Engineering decisions to the design and implementation of the plant.

Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory and community commitments.

Oversee engineering quality, design maturity, constructability and technical assurance.

Direct procurement,



contract management and the performance of consultants, suppliers and construction contractors.

Maintain control of project scope, budget, schedule, risk, change and commercial performance.

Lead construction, commissioning, operational-readiness and asset-handover activities.

Build and develop a high-performing, accountable project team.

Manage relationships with executives, clients, partners, regulators, communities and other key stakeholders.

About you

A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline.

Significant senior leadership experience on major EPC or EPCM projects.

Proven experience across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

Demonstrated accountability for major project budgets, integrated schedules and multidisciplinary teams.

Strong contractor, supplier, commercial and stakeholder-management capability.

Thorough knowledge of project governance, controls, risk and change management.

Experience operating in remote, complex and high-risk project environments.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and decision-making skills.
