About the Opportunity

As the Executive Assistant to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery, you will be responsible for:

- Providing quality customer service, ensuring a respectful and helpful response is given to all face-to-face and telephone enquiries.
- Completing a range of operational, clerical and administrative tasks, including report production, drafting responses to correspondence, record keeping and management, booking services/appointments, and purchasing/stores management.
- Providing assistance with more complex tasks or projects and relief for other staff as required, to support efficiency and quality within the service and team.
- Supporting the manager and team with quality activities to ensure ongoing improvement in local processes.
- Making decisions and taking initiative on day-to-day operational matters, performing according to established work practices and procedures under general instruction and broad supervision.
- Organising meetings, taking minutes and managing associated procedures.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Proven intermediate/advanced computer competency and solid keyboard skills with speed and accuracy, including high level experience with database systems.
- Proven experience working in a high workload and pressure area, with knowledge of clinical and corporate applications and work practices.
- Demonstrated ability and initiative to work both as part of a team and independently,



with a sound knowledge of administrative procedures in a health setting.
- A demonstrated strong customer focus and commitment to providing exceptional service to all clients, internal and external to the organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong written and verbal English, and the ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to organise meetings, take minutes and manage associated procedures.

Essential Requirements

- National Police Check
- OASV Vaccination Category B
- Class C Driver's Licence (preferred)
