Cyber Technical Business Analyst
12 Month Contract

Looking for a hands-on Cyber Technical Business Analyst who will bridge the gap between security operations, technology teams, and business stakeholders to enhance operational capabilities, support SOC uplift, and strengthen overall security posture.

What You Will Do:

- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for cyber security and SIEM initiatives.
- Reverse-engineer existing systems, applications, and processes to understand data flows and security controls.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding of infrastructure, application, cloud, and security logs into Microsoft Sentinel.
- Develop process maps, user stories, technical documentation, and operating procedures for current and future states.
- Facilitate workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support testing, implementation, and operational readiness.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst working directly on cyber security projects.
- Strong understanding of Security Operations Centre (SOC) processes, SIEM platforms, and threat detection concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel (log onboarding,



configuration, validation) and Microsoft Defender.
- Scripting capabilities in Azure Command Line (CLI) and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, process mapping, and technical documentation skills.
