Design & Build are working with a growing HVAC division within an established construction group. The business has built a strong pipeline of commercial installation and fit-out projects and is now looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager / Estimator to help drive the division forward.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys both project delivery and estimating, with genuine potential to grow into a senior leadership position as the division continues to expand.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with the leadership team and site-based trades, overseeing projects from estimating and procurement through to delivery, while providing technical and operational support to the installation team.

Projects are currently typically commercial and fit-out works up to $1M, with the business targeting larger projects as it continues to grow.

Responsibilities

- Manage HVAC projects from tender/estimating through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget.
- Prepare estimates, tenders, scopes and pricing for commercial HVAC projects.
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site activities to maintain productivity and project outcomes.
- Provide technical and practical support to trades,



helping resolve installation issues and improve project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with builders, clients and key stakeholders while identifying opportunities to grow the HVAC division.

About You
- Proven experience managing commercial HVAC installation projects, ideally with some estimating experience.
- Strong technical understanding of air-conditioning systems and commercial HVAC installation.
- Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to support and get the best from trades.
- Commercially minded with an understanding of project costs, margins, variations and budgets.
- Ambitious and motivated to grow with a developing business, with the potential to progress into a senior leadership role.
