This high-growth, national organisation is already a clear leader in the electrical products space—built on a reputation for doing things differently. Rather than reselling other people's products, they design and own their private label ranges, solving real customer problems and raising the bar with every release. Now, they require an experienced Product Development Manager to take full ownership of their core product range, and its development end to end.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the GM and supported by a Product Coordinator, you'll lead the private label Product Development function—with a clear focus on managing and continuously improving the core range. You'll work hands-on with manufacturers across China as well as engineers and technical specialists to turn ideas into commercially successful products then work internally to project manage them through to launch. This is a role where you won't design products yourself, rather you’ll own the process: concept, supplier collaboration, prototyping, compliance, manufacturing, launch and continuous improvement—start to finish.

What we are looking for

- Proven end-to-end Product Development experience, from concept to commercialisation.
- Experience developing electrical related products where product testing, certification and regulatory compliance have been key.
- Hands-on experience working with manufacturers across China.
- Robust project management and stakeholder management skills.
- A commercially minded, hands-on approach and genuine curiosity.

Highly regarded experience includes:
- Fire and life safety products
- Industrial or engineered products
- Consumer electronics, hardware or appliances

A qualification in Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, Manufacturing (or similar) will be highly regarded, however we're equally interested in experienced Product Development professionals who've built their expertise through hands-on industry experience.
