MercyCare

Currambine

When you join MercyCare you become part of something bigger than a job. You join a community of people who show up for Western Australians at the moments that matter most – from early learning and disability support, to family, community and aged care services. We live by our values of respect, integrity, compassion, justice, excellence and courage, and we are committed to safeguarding and protecting children, young people and vulnerable people in our community.

About the role

If you’re someone who loves making things work, this could be the role for you. You will be the person behind the scenes keeping everything moving. Build and manage staff rosters, allocate shifts and match the right team members to the right customers, while responding quickly when plans change. Think of it as putting together a giant puzzle – except the pieces are people, shifts, customers and changing priorities!

About you

You’re naturally organised, enjoy solving problems and don’t mind when the plan changes halfway through the day. You can stay calm when things get busy, communicate clearly and enjoy working with others to find a practical way forward. Your key experience will include:

- Rostering experience, ideally within aged care or community services
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management
- Initiative and confident problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Robust Microsoft Office Suite and online systems capability
- Certificate III in Office Administration, Business or equivalent (desirable)
- Availability to participate in an on-call and weekend rotating roster

- National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months

About the benefits

You’ll become part of an inclusive, Western Australian organisation committed to making a difference in our local communities. Our MercyCare Promise ensures our people are connected and empowered to make a difference in the heart of our communities. You’ll also enjoy access to:

- Not for profit Salary Packaging options up to $18,000
- Childcare discounts for your little ones
- Options to purchase additional leave
- Career Pathways, Professional Development and Training
- Comprehensive Wellbeing Program including discounted health insurance and free flu vaccinations
