About the role
Bathurst Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to fill a temporary part-time maternity relief position.
As a Pharmacist, you will support the safe, appropriate, and efficient use of medicines, applying your clinical knowledge, skilled judgement, and strong communication skills to deliver quality patient care. The role involves reviewing, validating, dispensing, and checking medications to ensure timely and safe treatment outcomes, supporting pharmacy technicians in the effective supply of medicines, and providing expert medication advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. You will also play an important role in medication reconciliation and promoting the quality use of medicines across the service.
