Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Retail Assistant Manager to support our much-loved Vinnies shop in North Mackay!

This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same. Working closely with the Retail Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the store, help lead a dedicated volunteer team, and create a welcoming shopping experience for the local community.

We are looking for someone with solid leadership skills, initiative, and a cooperative approach, who is passionate about customer service, sustainable shopping, and visual merchandising.



As this is a hands-on retail environment, manual handling will also form part of the role.

We're currently recruiting for a Permanent, Full-time positions (38 hours per week) based in North Mackay.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring:

- Your experience - previous experience in retail including merchandising, cash handling, workplace health and safety and effective communication skills
- An eye for sustainable fashion and repurposing with purpose - ensuring our customers find their next hidden treasure
