As a Social Worker, you'll play an important role in helping individuals and families access the support they need to achieve better health and wellbeing. From delivering person-centred interventions to working alongside multidisciplinary teams, your contribution will help create positive outcomes across the Southern region.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Providing high-quality social work support that improves patient wellbeing and care outcomes.
- Partnering with patients, families and healthcare professionals to navigate complex situations and plan effective support.
- Supporting service improvements that enhance patient experiences and strengthen care delivery.
- Sharing knowledge, mentoring emerging practitioners and contributing to a culture of learning and collaboration.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Eligibility for skilled social work membership and a recognised social work qualification.
- Strong clinical assessment, intervention and case management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and build positive stakeholder relationships.
- A current C class driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in rural or regional healthcare and/or experience supporting students or less experienced practitioners.
