Our client, a principal contractor, is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to join their team on a major civil infrastructure project in the Blue Mountains region. This is an immediate start prospect offered on a temp/contract basis for 6+ months, with strong potential for extension.

About the role:
Working closely with the project's HSEQ and delivery teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining safety standards across a fast-paced civil construction environment.

Key responsibilities:

- Coordinate and support day-to-day site safety activities across the project
- Conduct site inspections, audits and toolbox talks
- Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions
- Maintain SWMS, JSAs and other safety documentation
- Support subcontractor safety inductions and compliance monitoring
- Liaise with site management, engineers and supervisors to embed a positive safety culture
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and client-specific safety requirements

What you'll need:

- Previous experience as a Safety Coordinator/Advisor on civil infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, tunnels or similar)
- Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of NSW WHS legislation and relevant codes of practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills




- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to site in the Blue Mountains
- White Card and relevant site safety inductions
