About the role

MSS Security is looking for Part-Time and Casual Aviation Protection Officer to join our team at Ballina Airport.

Play a key role in keeping passengers, staff and airport operations safe, while building your career in the aviation security industry. Ready to make a real difference in aviation security?

Duties include but are not limited to:

Conduct security screening of passengers, staff, and visitors

Operate screening equipment and security technology, including X-ray machines, metal detectors, and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) systems.

Perform passenger, staff, visitor, and baggage screening to identify prohibited items, dangerous goods, and security threats.

Monitor and patrol airport facilities, reporting and responding to security incidents,



breaches, and potential risks.

Requirements:

Full Australian working rights.

Current Driver's License

Strong communication and customer service skills .

Ability to undergo and pass a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).

24/7 availability required for rotating roster.

Master licence – 408742075
