The Role

The Financial Accountant role will play a key part in supporting the finance function through accurate financial reporting, month-end close activities, statutory compliance and audit requirements. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will help ensure the integrity of financial information and contribute to continuous improvement across finance processes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Month-end and year-end financial reporting activities
- Preparation of management reports and P&L; analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Journals, accruals, prepayments and adjustments
- Fixed asset accounting and maintenance of the asset register
- Supporting cash flow forecasting and treasury activities
- Assisting with audit preparation and year-end statutory requirements
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support financial reporting processes
- Identifying and implementing process improvements initiatives across finance operation

Your Profile





- Demonstrated experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
- Experience working within energy, infrastructure, utilities is advantageous
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical reporting deadlines
