We are recruiting a Senior Estimator for a privately owned main contractor who deliver civil works to the mining and civil industries throughout the NSW region. Based from our clients Head Offices located Lane Cove this role presents the successful candidate the opportunity to join a strong & collaborative working environment with a stable business, that invest heavily in staff development.

In this role you will be working closely with Management, Site Supervisors, Suppliers and stakeholders by utilising the Expert Estimation to determine the costs associated with completing the scope of work in a tender or quote. Typical tenders will consist civil / earthworks projects ranging in value from $500k - $30m. You will prepare quotations and tenders by interpreting detailed scopes of works, specifications and drawings for all aspects of the business including civil works, bulk earthworks, road worksa, general maintenance, waste and potable water management.

Candidate criteria:

- At least 5 years' experience working in a similar role.
- Proficient in the following software's: Expert Estimation, MS Office, MS Project, P6, SimpPRO Project Management Software.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Track record successfully tendering on projects including earthworks,



concrete, NPI, roadworks and drainage.
- Track record successfully tendering on projects ranging from $500k - $30m in value.
- Full Australian working rights.
