Fabulous Catering is one of Australia's leading catering companies. Currently catering for over 4000 functions per year in Melbourne alone, we are looking at growth and require a top sales and events manager to lead our team to the next level!

At Fabulous Catering, one day you are calling warm leads to secure catering and events business, next you are providing a sample tasting for a wedding, next you are event managing onsite a function of 200 plus, through to over 2500 people! Rokeby100 is a function space within the same building - www.rokeby100.com.au - holding milestone birthdays, weddings, corporate functions and anything in between! This role also ties into Rokeby100

We cater to all functions, big and small and your day to day duties will include:

- Managing inbound enquiries for events/catering via phone and email

- Conducting warm sales calls to clients that have made menu and catering enquiries

- Account management of high-level portfolio of clients

- Provide exceptional customer service

- General administration





- Function coordination and execution of events on-site in Melbourne (every 1-2 weeks)

The ideal applicant will have

- A strong desire to succeed

- Experience in customer service, sales, hospitality or events

- Passion for food, beverage and good service!

- Willingness to learn

- Have a drivers license and car - (seeing to site inspections and meetings)

- Have a strong work-ethic

- Gift of the gab – must be able to pick up a phone and be comfortable

- Excellent multitasking skills

- Positive computer skills, ability to learn and coordinate extensive database management

- Understanding of the catering and events industry and any restaurant experience is highly regarded

- Tuesday - Saturday one week then Monday - Friday the next, enjoy a long weekend every 2 weeks! Overseeing functions at function space at Rokeby100, large corporate functions offsite and co-coordinating a team.
