We are a Plastic Surgery Practice based in North Adelaide seeking a highly organised, reliable and hard working Registered/Enrolled Nurse to join our team. The applicant will need to be able to assist doctor with examinations and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting doctor with examinations, procedures and wound care management
- Providing patient education and following up on patients' postoperative progress where appropriate
- Ensuring a clean, safe and well stocked clinical environment
- Cleaning and sterilising the instruments
About you
- Current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Previous nursing experience in working in similar setting or hospital is desirable
- Robust clinical skills and knowledge of surgical nursing practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment in delivering high quality patient centered care
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Basic knowledge on wound care and sterilising is an advantage
