Our client is one of Australia's leading FMCG businesses, with a portfolio of well-known household brands across major food categories. Many of these brands have skyrocketed across your Coles & Woolworths aisles, and as they look to gain market share, they are also looking to invest and strengthen this finance function.

Opportunity
This is a newly created Finance Business Partner opportunity that will report directly to the Commercial Finance Manager.

You will sit close to the manufacturing operation, working across commercial finance, management accounting, procurement and business partnering. The role is heavily focused on understanding what is driving performance across labour, waste, sales, inventory, product costing and margin, then turning that data into insights the business can actually act on.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with manufacturing and operations across key business drivers
- Analyse labour, waste, sales, margin, inventory and product costing
- Support month-end, standard costing, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Build and improve reporting through Excel, Power BI and automation
- Translate financial and operational data into clear commercial recommendations
- Partner with suppliers across pricing,



sourcing and commercial negotiations
- Identify opportunities to improve margin, productivity and profitability

About You

- Experience across commercial finance, management accounting, FMCG or manufacturing
- Robust understanding of manufacturing finance and operational drivers
- Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Strong Excel capability, with Power BI and SAP highly regarded
- Comfortable working with large volumes of financial and operational data
- Hungry, ambitious and keen to build a career within a leading FMCG business
