NB: Candidates may be assessed for casual or part time roles in Launceston area also.

Responsibilities

Day to day responsibilities include:

1. Assist with maintaining and establishing links to the community

2. Promoting independent decision making

3. Work within the principles of person-centered approach

4. Interface with other services working in the health sector

5. Domestic activities, including assisting with personal hygiene

6. Transport participants to and from activities

7. Encouraging health and wellbeing and active lifestyles

Requirements

Applicable candidates are required to have:





- Certificate III in Individual Support and Disability & Mental Health or equivalent degree / lived experience

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

- Current Working with Vulnerable People Card

- Satisfactory NDIS Screening Check

- Satisfactory National Police Check

- Full comprehensive car insurance & valid unrestricted Australian drivers license

- Current or willing to obtain First-Aid Certificate
