Are you a passionate employment lawyer looking to make a significant impactinasupportiveenvironment? We are seeking an experienced(5+ years PQE) Employment Lawyer to join our team, supporting one of Australia's largest and most complex workforces.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategiclegaladvice:Providestrategic legal advice ona broad range ofemployment law matters, including litigation, daily employment issues,workplaceinvestigations,transactions,disciplinary actions, discriminationmatters,safety matters,and terminationissues.
- Disputeresolution and litigation:Independently managelitigationmattersand advise on contentious disputes involving employees and former employees.This includesappearingin,orpartnering with our external law firm partners to conduct litigation in,the Fair Work Commission, anti-discriminationtribunalsand Federal Courts.
- Sensitive workplace investigations:Advise onsensitive workplace investigations,regulatory matters, executive employmentmatters, legislative reform, employment-relatedcomplianceand psychosocial risk.
- Transactions and strategic business projects:Adviseontheemployment aspects of transactionsand strategic initiatives,including partnering with external counsel andassistingthebusinesswithemployment relatedissuesarising fromorganisationalchange.
- Governance and risk management:Adviseonenterprise-wideprojects, such aspsychosocial risk frameworksand emerging workplace law developments.
About You and Your Skills
- Qualifications:Legal qualification and current practicing certificate.
- Experience:5+yearsPQE in employment law, with a proventrack recordin litigation at the Fair Work Commission.
- Expertise:Managingcomplexemployment law matters in largeorganisations, ideally ASX listed.
- Preferred Background:Significant private practiceexperience, ideally combined with in-house, secondment, and/or workplace relations experience.
- Skills:Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders,strong litigation skills in the Fair Work Commission,handle change in a fast-paced environment, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, client andsolutions-focused, motivated with a can-do attitude, and adept at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
