HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, independently owned commercial property business to find an experienced Business Operations & Finance Manager to join their Brisbane CBD team.

This is a genuinely broad and commercially focused role, combining hands-on finance, business operations, systems, HR, governance and executive support.

Working across multiple areas of the business, you'll act as a central point of coordination between senior leadership and operational teams. You'll be trusted to bring structure, improve processes, provide commercial insight and ensure the business has the systems and financial information required to continue growing.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Management: Own AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, month-end, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
- Commercial Finance: Provide financial analysis, project and funds management support, lender reporting and commercial insights to the Executive and Board.
- Operations & Systems: Oversee business operations, suppliers and technology systems, driving process improvements, automation and operational efficiency.
- Governance, HR & Compliance: Manage corporate governance, policies, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and employee development processes.
- Executive & Business Support: Provide high-level support to the Executive and Chairman, coordinate Board reporting and meetings, and lead cross-functional projects and business initiatives.

Who Will Fit This Opportunity?





We're looking for a finance/ operations professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats and working closely with senior leadership.

- Experience across finance, business operations and corporate services
- Strong hands-on accounting experience across month-end, reconciliations, payroll, AP/AR and reporting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Experience managing multiple functions and competing priorities
- Advanced Xero and Microsoft 365 capability
