What’s the Gig?

As Dapto Leagues Club continues to grow and expand, we’re looking for a Sous Chef and a Qualified Chef to join our kitchen team in The Mill Restaurant. You’ll take pride in your skills, work well under pressure and bring a great energy to our culture.

Sous Chef

A hands‑on leadership role supporting the Executive Chef in a busy, modern open kitchen.

- Lead and mentor the kitchen team during service

- Deliver high‑quality, consistent dishes in a high‑volume environment

- Assist with training apprentices and junior chefs

- Maintain prep levels, portion control and minimal food waste

- Ensure food safety, hygiene and WHS standards are always met

- Full-time salaried position, great remuneration for the right candidate

What we’re looking for:





- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef

- Experience in high‑volume food service

- Relevant trade qualifications

- Strong leadership skills and a positive, team‑first approach

- Flexible availability across a 7‑day roster

Qualified Chef

A great opportunity for a reliable, skilled chef who takes pride in quality food and teamwork.

- Prepare and deliver menu items during service

- Maintain consistency, presentation and portion control

- Assist with prep, stock rotation and service support

- Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times

- Part-time opportunity, up to 37 hours available

What we’re looking for:

- Trade‑qualified chef with experience in a commercial kitchen

- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

- Flexible availability across a 7‑day roster
