Role Description This part-time Psychologist role is based in Secret Harbour, WA and is offered as a hybrid position, combining in-person client sessions with some work-from-home flexibility for administration and planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, providing individual therapy, and delivering child-centred interventions, including play-based approaches. The role involves developing treatment plans, documenting clinical notes, and collaborating with families, carers, and other professionals to support client outcomes. The Psychologist will participate in case discussions, contribute to service improvement, and ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and professional standards.





Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Psychology, including theoretical knowledge and application in clinical or community settings.
- Experience in Counseling and Mental Health support, with the ability to provide evidence-based interventions to children, adolescents, and families.
- Skills in Psychological Assessment, including administering, scoring, and interpreting standardised tools and writing clear, clinically useful reports.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology and eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., AHPRA registration or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate documentation, manage a part time caseload, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and inclusive practice.
- Experience with child-centred approaches, play therapy, or Positive Behaviour Support is highly regarded.
