About Us

Swift Solar and Electrical is a CEC-approved, family-owned electrical business specialising in solar PV, battery storage, and split system air conditioning installations. We're growing and looking for a reliable Trade Assistant to join our team and support our licensed electricians on-site.

n

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the electrical/solar industry. You'll be working alongside experienced tradespeople on a variety of residential and commercial jobs, gaining hands-on experience with solar panel installs, battery systems, and AC units. No prior experience is necessary – we're happy to train the right person, but a genuine interest in the trade and a strong work ethic go a long way.

Day to day you'll be:

n

n
- Assisting electricians with solar, battery, and AC installations
n
- Carrying materials, preparing job sites, and keeping work areas clean and safe
n
- Running cable, mounting panels, and helping with basic wiring tasks under supervision
n




- Loading/unloading the work vehicle and managing stock/materials
n
- Following safety procedures and site instructions at all times
n

n

What we're looking for:

n

n
- Current driver's licence (own reliable transport preferred)
n
- White Card (construction induction card)
n
- Punctual, reliable, and willing to work outdoors in all conditions
n
- Positive physical fitness – some lifting and working at heights involved
n
- Strong attitude and willingness to learn – trade experience is a bonus but not essential
n
