Murdoch Gardens Care Community is located in a peaceful neighbourhood adjacent to Murdoch University with a retirement village next door. Our 141 bed Care Community is just 20 minutes south of the Perth CBD and is a spacious and elegant home with flourishing gardens. We have a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and encourage residents to stay connected with the local community.

About the Role

- Night Duty Position
n
- $47.89 - $54.15 (DOE) base rate + Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays, plus 12% superannuation.
n
- Permanent Part-Time opportunities

This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is confident working overnight, enjoys supporting residents with dignity and respect, and can provide calm clinical leadership during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide high-quality, person-centred clinical care to residents overnight.
n
- Monitor residents' health and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies.
n
- Administer medications in line with legislation, policies and clinical standards.
n
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
n
- Maintain residents' comfort, privacy, dignity and independence.
n
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to care staff on shift.
n
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control, workplace health and safety, and quality standards
n
- Participate in clinical handovers to ensure continuity of care between shifts.
n
- Liaise effectively with medical practitioners, allied health professionals, families, and external providers as required.

About You

n

n
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
n
- Previous night duty experience in residential aged care is highly regarded.
n
- Confidence working night duty and making sound clinical decisions.
n
- Strong communication skills with residents, families and team members.
n
- A warm, skilled and resident-focused approach.
n
- Ability to complete pre-employment medical, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
