We are currently seeking applications for suitably qualified and experienced Special Class Welder with extensive experience welding exotic metals to join our great local team in Henderson, WA. You will possess a commitment to work as a team player, be adaptable to a changing setting.

- Perform welding in accordance with approved weld procedures and codes
n
- Interpret welding symbols to ensure correct welding techniques
n
- Carry out basic maintenance of welding machine and equipment to keep a clean and safe work area.
n
- Follow all workshop and site safety requirements.
n




- Sound knowledge of Welding, including piping and platework.
n
- Sound knowledge of Welding Exotic Metals such as Duplex's, Alloys, Stainless Steel etc
n
- GTAW welding experience is a MUST, GMAW/FCAW welding experience desirable.
n
- 5+ years' trade experience.
n
- Ensure all activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
n
- Able to identify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions
n
- Elevated Work Platform.
n
- Recognised training certification in rigging, dogging & forklift.
n
- Confined Space Entry and Working Safely at Heights.
n
