WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

n

As a Sparky at Norton Gold Fields, you are responsible for conducting the maintenance and repair of the Paddington OperationsHeavy Mining Equipment(HME), in a secure and efficient manner. Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and health and safety regulations.

- Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards, damage, and defects in the work area.
n
- Diagnose faults and breakdowns across the Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) fleet.
n
- Complete planned maintenance and servicing tasks efficiently.
n
- Estimate time and materials needed for jobs and raise orders accordingly.
n
- Undertake repairs of both Light Vehicle (LV) and HME fleet as necessary.
n
- Regularly inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
n
- Manage costs responsibly to minimize rework and unnecessary use of parts and services.
n
- Continuously review work tasks and jobs for opportunities to improve efficiency.

ABOUT YOU

n

n
- At least 2 years of experienceas an Auto Electrical tradesperson in the Mining Industry or similar.(Essential)
n
- Trade qualified withAUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Technologyor equivalent.(Essential)
n
- Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class "C" Driver's Licence(Essential).
n
- Air Conditioning Licence (Essential)
n




- Experience with the Caterpillar trucks and Hitachi diggers (Desirable)
n
- Solid commitment to safety and team player.
n
- Good understanding of the following machines:n n n
- CAT 777F , 789D , 775F Komatsu HD1500-8 trucks
n
- CAT 16M, 18M Graders
n
- CAT D10T – D10T2 Dozers
n
- Hitachi EX1900 , EX2600 , EX3600 Excavators
n
- Komatsu PC1250 Excavators
n
- CAT IT62H , 938K , 938G , 950F , 966H , 970F , 980H , 988F Wheel loaders
n
- Atlas T45, L7 Blast hole Drill rigs
