Dysart Hospital in Queensland is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis. The role is graded RN Grade 5, with a salary range of AUD$55.65 to AUD$70.82 per hour, and involves rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts with a maximum of 80 hours per fortnight.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated rural nursing and emergency department experience

- Competence in triage and resuscitation protocols

- Ability to team lead and manage ward operations, including solo shift management

- Proficiency with QLD ieMR, FirstNet, PowerChart, and HBCIS systems
n
- Own vehicle highly recommended due to the remote location of the facility

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Previous experience with Queensland Health or Mackay Health and Hospital Service

- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent emergency nursing qualification
