Direct Steel Traders is a growing steel supplier based in Silverdale, NSW, and we're looking for an experienced HC Driver to join our team.

About the role

n

This is a hands-on driving position delivering steel to multiple customers throughout the day.

n

As this role involves multiple drops, you'll need to be comfortable checking and re-securing loads after each delivery and understand the importance of safe load restraint.

n





What we're looking for

n

n
- Current HC licence
n
- Good understanding of load restraint requirements
n
- Demonstrated commercial driving experience
n
- Experience transporting steel or similar loads
n
- Good knowledge of Sydney metro and surrounding areas
n
- Reliable, safety-focused and willing to work as part of a team
n
- Ability to learn and adapt
n
- Physically fit and comfortable regularly climbing on and off trailers
n

n

Highly regarded, but not essential

n

n
- Forklift licence
n
- Experience driving a Road Ranger gearbox
n
- HIAB experience, or a willingness to learn
n

n
