We are looking for a Locum Hospital Dietitian for an 8-week contract in a regional/outback location, approximately a 3-hour flight from Sydney.

n

This is a great opportunity for a Dietitian who is open to a short-term escape from city routine, while gaining unique experience in a supportive hospital setting.

n

Accommodation is provided, and $1,000 of return relocation costs is covered.

n

Ideally commencing Monday 7th September

n

Full-time hours

n

Work hours are 8:00am to 4:21pm

n

Hourly rate approx. $60–$75 per hour + Super

n

Accommodation provided

Opportunity for remote trips if desired

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Provide dietitian services across acute care, ICU, paediatrics, renal, surgical,



general medical, outpatients and gastro
n
- Support patients with PEG and IBD management
n
- Work within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Gain experience across eating disorders, motivational interviewing and cultural engagement
n

n

About you

n

n
- Acute care or renal experience
n
- APD status, or eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian status
n
- Team leadership experience preferred
n
- Driver's licence preferred, but not essential
n
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Good communication and organisation skills
n
- This role would suit someone who is open to a true outback experience, with incredible landscapes, sunsets, stars and hiking.
