Job Description

Our business partner based in the Eastern Creek area is a Australian Owned organization that delivers leading edge supply chain management systems and cost effective logistics solutions to their customers within the food industry.

This position will be working in the Ambient Dry goods department which will involve picking and packing of consumer goods and alcohol based products .

n

n
- Pay rate $39per hour!!! probation rate. + Allowances
n
- after 6 months pay rate will be increased to $45 per hour
n
- DAY SHIFT & AFTERNOON SHIFTS AVAILABLE Monday - Friday with Saturday work where required.
n
- Flexibility will be required as the hours per day will be up to 10 hours daily Where required
n
- Eastern Creek Location

- Temp to Permanent opportunities

Start times will be as below

n

DAY SHIFT start times will be Between 9am and 11am shifts start flexibility will see you stand out from the crowd.

n

Training will be provided , if you are keen with a willingness to learn, flexible and looking for stable work

n

We are seeking applications from individuals who meet the following selection criteria:

n

n
- knowledge of the warehousing industry
n
- Previous experience operating and Electric Pallet Jack EPJ
n
- Experience with Pick & Pack and knowledge on carton stacking on pallets
n




- Previous experience decanting and or picking off conveyor belts Highly Desirable
n
- Previous experience with VOICE PICKING - Highly Desirable
n
- Experience with pallet stacking
n
- MUST be flexible for the mentioned start times
n
- flexible as there maybe standby shifts rostered
n
- Flexibility to work overtime and ability to work with the start times mentioned
n
- Physically fit and in good health
n
- Good communication skills
n
- A robust & reliable work history
n
- 2 x work related refereesmust be available to overtime where required
n
- Must have a current Drivers License & own reliable transport
n
- Team Player
n

Key Areas of Responsibility:

- Safe operation of Electric Pallet Jack
n
- Current Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
n
- Voice picking experience highly regarded
n
- Demonstrating a sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
n
- Competent level of numeracy & literacy skills
n
- Initiative to make a contribution to the business
n
