This is a great opportunity for a motivated, skilled and proactive individual to join the team.

Main Duties:

n

n
- Performing thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, both interior and exterior
n
- Inspecting vehicles for defects and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
n
- Maintaining and organizing detailing equipment and supplies.
n
- Ensuring a safe and clean working environment
n
- Maintain the wash bay and detailing area in a clean and orderly way to maximise productivity and minimise health and safety risks.
n
- Ensure all chemicals are stored and managed responsible.
n
- Perform other tasks/duties requested/assigned by supervisors, department managers or directors from time to time.
n
- Maintain the area around the dealership ensuring it is clean and tidy at all times.
n




- Fit number plates to used vehicles.
n

n

Skills and experience

n

n
- A basic knowledge of motor vehicles and maintenance procedures
n
- A basic knowledge of techniques of paint and fabric preparation and maintenance
n
- A high attention to detail
n
- Confidence to report concerns or questions to managers as appropriate
n
- Ability to multi skill and prioritise duties
n
- A current driver's licence
n
- Experience in a similar position in automotive industry (desirable)
n
- Understanding of the typical business structures of the retail automotive industry an advantage
n
- An honest and professional nature
