Toowong Orthodontics is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Oral Health Therapist to join the team to cover maternity leave for a period of 7-8 months. Key responsibilities
n

- Provide high-quality orthodontic treatment under the direction of the orthodontist, including appliance adjustments, debands and aligner reviews
n
- Deliver preventative oral health education and hygiene advice tailored to orthodontic patients
n
- Monitor patient progress throughout their treatment journey and communicate updates clearly to patients and families
n
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records
n
- Work collaboratively with orthodontists, dental assistants and reception staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
n
- Uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
n

About you

- Current registration with AHPRA as an Oral Health Therapist
n
- Valid professional Indemnity Insurance
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for patient care
n
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment
