Natural Area hires personnel who have a range of backgrounds, skills and experiences. Roles are predominantly graduate positions working in the field or nursery with career progression to project management, environmental consulting and specialist field works available.

- Available for full time work, Mon-Fri with 7am starts.
n
- Have reliable personal transport and a WA Drivers Licence.
n
- Attention to detail, genuine care and passion for native environments.
n
- Physically fit, self-motivated and able to function in a team workplace.
n
- Punctual and reliable
n
- Knowledge of and ability to identify Perth bushland plants
n
- An Australian or NZ resident/citizen, with accommodation in Perth
n

Additionally, Environmental Field Technician applicants with the following attributes will be considered favourably:

n

n




- Knowledge of and ability to identify Perth bushland plants and weeds.
n
- Knowledge of weed control and native revegetation planting techniques.
n
- Experience with small motors (chainsaw/brushcutter) and using 2-stroke fuel.
n

The following personal licences and qualifications are required to be provided pre-employment:

n

n
- WA Drivers Licence
n
- Current First Aid certificate, with 12 months validity
n

n

- Hard copies of any supporting documentation such as tertiary qualifications, licences, passport or birth certificate and any other relevant qualifications

What should I wear to the interview?

You are required to wear field attire to your interview. This includes:

- Long work pants
n
- Long sleeved high-vis shirt (crease free), or a high-vis vest to wear over a plain work shirt (no other company logos are permitted)

- Steel capped work boots
n
