LABOURER - DOCKHAND

Day shift: 5am-9am (4hr shift) Rate: $33

n

Afternoon shift: 4pm-8pm (4hr shfit) Rate: $38

Location 1: Horsley Park

Location 2: Warrick Farm

About the Role

n

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Dockhands to join a busy freight and logistics operation. This role involves loading and unloading freight, sorting consignments, and ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
n
- Sort, scan, and label freight accurately.
n
- Manually handle freight of varying sizes and weights.
n
- Palletise and wrap freight ready for dispatch.
n
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (where authorised).
n
- Ensure freight is stored in the correct locations.
n
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
n
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
n
- Work efficiently to meet daily deadlines and KPIs.
n
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Previous dockhand, freight handling, or warehouse experience preferred.
n
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling.
n




- Ability to lift up to 25kg safely.
n
- Experience using RF scanners is advantageous.
n
- Strong attention to detail.
n
- Reliable with excellent attendance.
n
- Able to work in a fast-paced workplace.
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
n
- Forklift Licence (LF) is advantageous but not essential.
n

Requirements

- Must be available to work Monday to Friday, with overtime when required.
n
- Own reliable transport and a valid driver's licence preferred.
n
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
n
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening if required.
n
- Must comply with all site safety and PPE requirements.
