Job Description

- Provide hands-on support during build, integration, and deployment phases, including prototypes, reference implementations, and technical troubleshooting.
n
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across the full project lifecycle from requirements and conceptual design through to build, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
n
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, constraints, and strategic objectives, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with long-term goals.
n
- Develop high-level and detailed solution designs, including architecture diagrams, integration patterns, data flows, and security considerations.
n
- Evaluate technologies and platforms, recommending options that balance cost, scalability, performance, and alignment with Group Technology standards.
n
- Embed "security by design" principles into all architecture and design activities.
n
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and Group Technology teams to validate and refine solution designs.
n
- Support functional and non-functional testing to ensure solution integrity and performance.
n
- Produce high-quality documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials for operational teams.
n
- Contribute to the technology strategy, design standards, and continuous improvement of engineering and delivery practices.

Requirements

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
n
- 5+ years' experience in solution design, architecture, or technical consulting roles
n
- Certifications in cloud, architecture, or design frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure, TOGAF) are advantageous.
n
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in building and developing technology solutions, including configuration, integration, and automation activities as required.
n
- Robust ability to collaborate, elicit requirements, and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
n




- Broad knowledge of IT technologies, cloud platforms, integration patterns, and security principles
n
- Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear architecture and design documentation
n
- Proven experience working alongside engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
n
- Track record of improving design, development, or delivery processes
n
- Ability to align technology decisions with business strategy and long-term objectives
n
- Analytical, structured problem-solver with strong attention to detail
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and proactively
n
