Upper Murray Family Care (UMFC) is seeking an Integrated Practice Leader to join our Child Wellbeing team at The Orange Door in Wangaratta.
n
This is an opportunity to use your expertise, leadership and collaborative approach to strengthen integrated practice across a multidisciplinary and multi-agency environment.

About the role
n
As the Integrated Practice Leader, you will provide senior practice leadership and expert advice across The Orange Door, supporting practitioners and leaders to deliver high-quality, integrated responses to family violence, child and family wellbeing and complex needs.
n
You will:
n
n
- Provide secondary consultation and practice leadership on complex and highly sensitive cases.
n
- Lead, mentor and develop practitioners and Team Leaders.
n
- Strengthen integrated practice across UMFC, The Orange Door partner agencies and other key stakeholders.
n
- Provide expert advice regarding risk,
practice, accountability and complex decision-making.
n
- Promote culturally safe, inclusive, trauma-informed and evidence-based practice.
n
- Lead reflective practice and contribute to workforce capability and professional development.
n
- Identify opportunities for practice improvement, innovation and system development.
n
- Build strong partnerships across community, government and specialist service organisations.
n
- Support effective and accountable use of client brokerage.
n
n
You will have the opportunity to influence practice beyond individual cases, helping build a strong, collaborative and capable workforce across The Orange Door.
n
About you
n
We are looking for an experienced professional who brings:
n
n
- A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification aligned with the Mandatory Minimum Qualification Requirements for Specialist Family Violence Workers.
n
- Demonstrated experience leading practice in complex, multidisciplinary or multi-organisational service environments.
n
- Strong knowledge of family violence, child development, attachment, trauma and child and family vulnerability.
n
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and risk management.
n
- The ability to provide sound professional judgement, consultation and practice advice.
n
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across agencies and disciplines.
n
- A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive and responsive practice.
n
- A genuine commitment to reflective practice, continuous learning and professional development.
