Job Description

Cobar District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a nine-week contract from late August through early November 2026. Based in Cobar, NSW, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic ED environment where your triage expertise and clinical leadership will make a real difference. The position is remunerated at AUD45.00 to AUD60.00 per hour, providing flexibility and competitive rates for contract work.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in emergency department triage
n
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
n
- Ability to work in charge of the shift and manage clinical priorities independently
n
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
n
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in emergency nursing
n
- Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
n
