About the role

n

We are looking for a curious and commercially minded Data Analyst to turn supporter and fundraising data into meaningful insights and action. Reporting to the Fundraising Database Manager, you will support data driven decision making across the fundraising function. You will analyse supporter behaviour, campaign performance and fundraising trends to identify opportunities to improve acquisition, retention, engagement and lifetime value. This role is based in Allambie Heights with flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities

n

- Analyse supporter behaviour, fundraising performance and donor trends
n
- Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across fundraising reporting and analytical outputs.
n
- Develop audience segmentation and insights to support targeted campaigns and supporter journeys
n
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations
n
- Analyse campaign performance, return on investment, retention and lifetime value
n
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve fundraising performance
n
- Support predictive and behavioural analysis
n
- Translate data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations
n
- Partner with fundraising stakeholders to understand reporting needs
n
- Support and champion data led decision making across the fundraising function
n
- Help optimise business intelligence and reporting capabilities across Salesforce and other fundraising systems
n
- Leverage AI enabled and other contemporary analytical tools to improve reporting and insights
n

About you

n

You are an analytical problem solver who can turn complex data into clear and actionable insights. You enjoy identifying patterns and opportunities and can communicate your findings effectively to a range of stakeholders.

n

You will ideally bring:

n

n




- 5+ years of data analysis and/or data management experience
n
- Strong data extraction, transformation and analysis skills, including SQL or similar querying languages.
n
- Experience working with data warehouses, data models and large datasets.
n
- Strong dashboard and reporting experience using tools such as Power BI or similar
n
- Experience with CRM systems, with Salesforce highly regarded
n
- Experience analysing campaign, customer or supporter performance
n
- Experience evaluating campaign tests, measuring outcomes and identifying optimisation opportunities.
n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
n
- Experience with Fabric Data Warehouse would be highly regarded
n
- Experience with marketing tools and platforms is desirable
n
- Experience within fundraising, membership, customer, loyalty or not-for-profit environments would be highly regarded.
n
- An interest in AI enabled and contemporary analytical tools
n

Qualifications

n

Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems or a related discipline are highly regarded.
