What you'll be doing
n
You'll be given the chance to develop your underwriting skills while working closely with a strong broker panel. Your role will include:
n
n
- Underwriting new business and renewals for residential strata risks within your delegated authority
n
- Providing high-quality support and service to an allocated broker panel
n
- Building strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders
n
- Assessing risks and applying underwriting guidelines
n
- Developing your understanding of risk selection, pricing and portfolio profitability
n
- Working with the team to continually improve service standards
n
- Managing your workload with strong attention to detail and time management
n
n
You don't need to be an experienced Underwriter. We'd love to hear from you if you have:
n
n
- 12+ months' experience in Property Claims, Insurance Customer Service or Underwriting Assistance
n
- A genuine interest in moving into Underwriting
n
- Property experience is ideal, but Commercial Motor underwriting assistant experience will also be considered
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
- A commercial mindset and desire to develop
n
