We are seeking a WHS Administrator to join our project team at SOL Apartments in Maroochydore.
n
Reporting to the WHS Coordinator, this is a junior site-based role providing administration and coordination support across the project's Work Health and Safety systems and processes.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in WHS administration and construction, while gaining practical experience working within a major multi-storey residential construction project.
n
You will work closely with the WHS Coordinator, Site Manager, Foremen, subcontractors and broader project team to ensure WHS records, systems and documentation are maintained accurately and efficiently.
n
THE PROJECT – SOL APARTMENTS, MAROOCHYDORE
n
SOL Apartments is one of the first major residential developments within the Maroochydore City Centre and forms part of the broader transformation of the emerging CBD.
n
Delivered for Walker, the project comprises two multi-storey residential towers above a podium structure, incorporating residential apartments, podium car parking, activated ground-floor spaces, integrated landscaping and premium resident amenities.
n
Working on SOL Apartments will provide valuable exposure to:

THE ROLE
n
Reporting to the WHS Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to help maintain the project's WHS systems and documentation.
n
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and interested in developing their career within construction and workplace health and safety.
n
You will be supported by the WHS Coordinator and wider project team while gaining practical experience in a professional construction environment.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the WHS Coordinator.
n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date WHS records and documentation.
n
- Assist with the administration of the Hammertech WHS management system.
n
- Assist with worker and subcontractor registrations and inductions.
n
- Maintain training, competency and induction records.
n
- Assist with uploading and maintaining WHS documentation, photographs and inspection records.
n
- Track outstanding WHS actions and follow up with relevant personnel as directed.
n
- Assist with the administration of toolbox talks, safety meetings and training sessions.
n
- Prepare attendance records, meeting minutes and action registers.
n
- Assist with maintaining WHS registers and project records.
n
- Assist with preparing weekly and monthly WHS reports.
n
- Support the WHS Coordinator with site inspections and safety activities.
n
- Assist with maintaining safety signage, communication material and WHS noticeboards.
n
- Identify missing or incomplete documentation and elevate issues to the WHS Coordinator.
n
- Assist with collecting WHS information and statistics.
n
- Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy records where required.
n
- Liaise professionally with workers, subcontractors and project team members regarding administrative requirements.
n
- Immediately escalating any safety concern, incident, hazard or unsafe condition to the WHS Coordinator or relevant site management.
n

ABOUT YOU

- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
n
- Confident using computers and Microsoft Office.
n
- Comfortable working with systems,
registers and documentation.
n
- A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with site personnel and subcontractors.
n
- Reliable, proactive and willing to learn.
n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
n
- Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

- Professional and approachable.
n
- Interested in developing a career in WHS and/or construction.
n
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
n
n
- Previous administration experience, preferably within construction, WHS or a project workplace.
n
- Experience maintaining records, registers or documentation.
n
- Good computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills.
n
- Experience with Hammertech, Procore or similar systems would be advantageous.
n
- Construction industry experience would be advantageous.
n
- A White Card would be advantageous.
n
- A WHS qualification or studies towards a WHS qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential.
n
n
This is a junior support role, so we are open to candidates who have strong administration skills and a genuine interest in developing within WHS and construction.
n
