Austrcorp Executive is partnering with an Australian water management consulting services and custom designed equipment to the mining, processing, and water utility sectors.

n

We are looking for a resourceful and enthusiastic Principal Water Engineer to join our water engineering team based in West Perth, with the opportunity to travel to sites throughout Australia.

n

Responsibilities Include

n

n
- Providing leadership and technical direction to the water resources team and subcontractors
n
- Produce hydraulic models for water pumping/ piping infrastructure
n
- Pump selection, pipe selection, and mechanical system design
n
- Detailed water infrastructure design experience
n
- Developing and maintaining engineering processes and procedures
n
- Managing the delivery of the Technical Assurance functions, including quality assurance, audit, analysis, corrective action, reporting and lessons learnt
n




- Providing leadership and assistance to programs and projects on an as-required basis including technical advice and direction and sourcing internal or external expertise as required
n
- Assisting engineers and technical personnel with career development and achieving qualifications
n
- Working closely with management to develop new work streams and overarching business strategies
n

The candidate

n

n
- A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
n
- Water Engineering experience - mining, energy, utilities preferred
n
- Advanced skills in PumpSim modelling package, waterGEMs or similar package
n
- A proven track record leading teams and projects from concept to handover
n
