Due to continued growth within our Asset Management business, Savills is expanding its Facilities Management team in Melbourne and is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join us.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of a commercial property portfolio.
n
- Manage contractors, service providers, and tenant maintenance requests to ensure service excellence.
n
- Monitor building services, statutory compliance requirements, audits, and risk management activities.
n
- Support ESG initiatives, including NABERS performance improvement strategies and sustainability programs.
n
- Identify and recommend capital expenditure opportunities, building upgrades, and asset improvement initiatives.
n
- Assist in the preparation and management of operating and capital expenditure budgets.
n
- Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and financial records in accordance with client and company requirements.
n
- Drive operational excellence through effective work order management and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
n
- Utilise property management systems and technology platforms to support operational performance, reporting, and compliance.
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Facilities Management, preferably managing commercial office and industrial assets.
n
- Experience overseeing building operations, contractor management, compliance, maintenance programs, and stakeholder engagement.
n
- Strong IT and systems skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management platforms.
n
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
n
- Experience across commercial property assets, particularly within the office sector, will be highly regarded.
n
- Strong tenant and stakeholder focus, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving and decision making.
n
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders.
n
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
n
