- 1. Verifying Sales Data: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly sales data from each direct or franchise restaurants.
- 2. Managing Costs: Control and reduce costs, including utilities, rent, COG, COE.
- 3. Monitoring Cash Flow: Prepare cash flow statements, manage AP/AR, oversea inventory purchases, and conduct cash flow analysis.
- 4. Overseeing Franchise Finances: Analyse franchisees' financial reports quarterly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- 5. Balancing Assets and Liabilities: Verify the balance of assets and liabilities to mitigate financial risks.
- 6. Implementing Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal audit controls at restaurant operation levels and ensure compliance with internal financial control systems.
- 7. Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with federal, state and local financial regulations, ensuring adherence and advising management.
- 8. Prepare internal used financial reports on a timely basis.
Skills & Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 months of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, taxation, accounting information systems, budgeting, cost management, planning and decision‑making.
- Strong communication skills and excellent time management.
- Growth mindset, good problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
- Experience with Xero accounting software is important.
- Must possess valid Australian work authorisation over 1 year at time of application.
